Who gets USB right side up 50% of the time

So I am not a statistician. But I know one or two. They all say that the coin flip, i.e. 50/50 thing, plays out over an infinite timeline so it doesn't have to be 50/50 in any time frame we would consider normal.

But in your head you keep stats. And have you noticed, that over the say, 15-20 years they have had USB connectors, you don't get it right even 30% of the time on the first try? It should be 50/50 over a week, right? I even tracked it over the last 5 days. 6 out of 20. Really? Yeah I could look at the port and the connector, study which one has the wide opening above the white thingy and then flip it to the opposite of the recipient. But that takes more time than trial and error. You know it and I know it. So we suffer, silently saying "wtf why is it never the way i try it first? NEVER."

There are many bad things going on today, yesterday, and there will be more tomorrow. But this can not be ignored.

I am not the only one who got therapy for this. Now i just laugh and cheer if i get three of ten.
