Prescription for a new social contract

If the far right had compassion and the far left had brains what a wonderful world it would be. Wouldn't it be fun to have Far Right Island and Far Left Island? Those inhabiting the former would kill each other and the latter would all die of starvation waiting for the government to do everything for them. And then all the remaining people could live together.
